Constantinus Award 2020
We won the award!

With the submission of the project "Cash withdrawal with the smartphone", we were named the winner of the Constantinus Award 2020 in the category "Information technology, standard software & cloud services" in Autumn 2020. Due to the corona pandemic the official award ceremony took place on January 12, 2021.

Numerous projects from all over Austria were submitted in six different categories. In the two-stage selection and evaluation process, the submitted projects were assessed by a 70-member jury of experts using five groups of criteria. The focus here is not only on profitability and the strengthening of the customer's strategic position, but also on the quality of consulting/solution quality and efficiency.

We are proud to have won the popular price by successfully introducing NFC technology to the ATM and enabling contactless cash withdrawal with a card or an NFC-enabled smartphone.

Due to the degree of innovation of the submitted project and the leading market position of SBS in the area of ATM software, the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) approved a front-runner grant for the research work in the early phase of the project.

Thank you!

"We are very happy about this award and thank our customers, partners and our employees for the consistent commitment and the enormous willingness to cooperate and innovate. As experts in the field of secure digital solutions, we particularly appreciate this recognition, as it illustrates the importance of digital developments to benefit customer and the success of companies that are ready to drive innovation."
