SBS reaffirms its technological leadership in the self-service market with support for Windows 10 IoT LTSC 2024
SBS is once again underscoring its position as a technological pioneer in the self-service market by integrating Windows 10 IoT LTSC 2024 at an early stage, sending a strong signal for future readiness and investment protection. While the company continues to keep a close eye on the end of support for existing LTSC 2019 versions, it is at the same time ensuring the prompt implementation of new operating system generations – to the benefit of its customers.
The goal is to provide a stable, high-performance and future-proof operating system for self-service systems that enables operations well beyond 2030. This not only protects banks’ investments, but also sustainably reduces attack risks in day-to-day operations.
A key success factor is close and timely coordination with manufacturers and customers in order to proactively support both technical innovations and regulatory requirements – including DORA, BFSG and current security guidelines. This clearly positions SBS as a partner that proactively guides its customers through the ongoing changes in regulatory and security requirements.
For Atruvia, SBS has already successfully completed the first productive installation and go-live of a self-service system running on Windows 10 IoT LTSC 2024 – making it one of the first data centers in Europe to do so. As a result, Atruvia benefits directly from the latest security and performance enhancements, while all SBS products are continuously kept at the cutting edge of technology.
“In close collaboration with our partner SBS, we ensure that the systems are always up to date technologically and meet the highest security standards – today and in the future.”
